Join us at our favourite cosy winter bar, Lovelite, to learn No Doubt’s super hit “Don’t Speak” in three part harmonies. ok!choir Pop Up nights are open for anyone to attend - no experience is necessary. Please join ok!choir and friends on Wednesday 26th February, as we revel in the glorious majesty that is Michael Hutchence’s hair.     Youtube-Livestream This pandemic might have made some of us feel like we need a hero to come save us. Like a speedy vaccine making pharmacist. Or a brilliant treatment inventing doctor. Or an ingenious recycled toilet paper manufacturer that never runs out of stock. And there are indeed some brilliant frontline workers in essential services who are doing brave and important things that help us stay safe in the new reality. But for many of us living in this strange period of history, the only hero we actually need to come save us is ... our own selves. And since these days getting dressed at all is completely optional, there has never been a better time to wear your underwear as outerwear. Need a hero? BE A HERO.

    Youtube-Livestream For this month's ok!choir virtual Pop Up, we're going to write a little love letter to ourselves. The COVID lockdowns have obliged many of us to take lessons in resilience and self-care, and to practice finding joy in small things; a loaf of fresh bread, a phonecall from a friend, a bird singing in the courtyard, a white wine schorle on a sunny balcony. It's time to celebrate the things that make us happy. When you're thinking about self-love and popular music there is only one artist to speak of: Lizzo. And so as we learn her feel-good hit "Good As Hell", I encourage you to adopt this mantra: I will love myself like Lizzo loves Lizzo.

  • Canceled Pop-Up: digichoir goes live!

    Yup, this is real. It‘s happening. We are having a real-life Pop-Up event. OMG, how exciting is this? We have missed our monthly open choir rehearsals dearly and this very troubling pandemic has made it quite hard for us to have one. BUT we managed to come up with a way that will allow us to sing together in person safely. At Görli! Yaaay! We thought it would be a sweet idea to sing those songs that we have learnt and put together during the lockdown.
