August Pop-Up: ‘The Chain’ by Fleetwood Mac

Biergarten Jockel Ratiborstr. 14c, Berlin

Fleetwood Mac are known for two things: soap-opera lifestyles and catchy pop songs. Celebrate at least one of these things with us at our upcoming Pop Up, where we’ll learn “The Chain” in 3 glorious parts. Will you sing the part of Stevie Nicks, Lindsay Buckingham, Christine McVie, or the other guy? ok!choir Pop Up nights are open rehearsals that anyone can attend - no experience is necessary. We learn a whole song in one night and finish with a tiny, spontaneous performance in a nearby street or park (weather permitting) and a video recording so we can relive the magic as many times as we want! Check out our YouTube channel to see some of our past hits! You need to be recovered/vaccinated/tested to take part, and must fill in a form with details upon arrival. This will take a bit of time and spots are limited so please arrive early if you can and enjoy some beer. 🙂

Pop-Up: digichoir goes live!

Yup, this is real. It‘s happening. We are having a real-life Pop-Up event. OMG, how exciting is this? We have missed our monthly open choir rehearsals dearly and this very troubling pandemic has made it quite hard for us to have one. BUT we managed to come up with a way that will allow us to sing together in person safely. At Görli! Yaaay! We thought it would be a sweet idea to sing those songs that we have learnt and put together during the lockdown. But now sing them in real life and enjoy the warm feeling you get when singing together with real people. Meet us @ Görlitzer Park - Pamukkale Brunnen

Online Pop-Up: ‘Good as Hell’ by Lizzo

Crack Bellmer Revaler Str. 99, Berlin

Youtube-Livestream For this month's ok!choir virtual Pop Up, we're going to write a little love letter to ourselves. The COVID lockdowns have obliged many of us to take lessons in resilience and self-care, and to practice finding joy in small things; a loaf of fresh bread, a phonecall from a friend, a bird singing in the courtyard, a white wine schorle on a sunny balcony. It's time to celebrate the things that make us happy. When you're thinking about self-love and popular music there is only one artist to speak of: Lizzo. And so as we learn her feel-good hit "Good As Hell", I encourage you to adopt this mantra: I will love myself like Lizzo loves Lizzo.
