Online Pop-Up: ‘Good as Hell’ by Lizzo

Youtube-Livestream For this month’s ok!choir virtual Pop Up, we’re going to write a little love letter to ourselves. The COVID lockdowns have obliged many of us to take lessons in resilience and self-care, and to practice finding joy in small things; a loaf of fresh bread, a phonecall from a friend, a bird singing in the courtyard, a white wine schorle on a sunny balcony. It’s time to celebrate the things that make us happy. When you’re thinking about self-love and popular music there is only one artist to speak of: Lizzo. And so as we learn her feel-good hit “Good As Hell”, I encourage you to adopt this mantra: I will love myself like Lizzo loves Lizzo.
