Summer is coming very soon and we’re going to celebrate it with a special gig for FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE This year we’ll be a part at the CVJM Neukölln, starting with us at 7 PM, Sunday 21th of JUNE ok!choir is a mixed voice pop choir of 45 singers based in Kreuzberg. We sings in four or five part harmonies, and regularly updates our repertoire of pop, rock and indie tunes.
Joy Division’s post-punk masterpiece, Love Will Tear Us Apart, is a tragic autobiographical ballad. Written in late 1979, the lyrics reflect Ian Curtis’s deep personal turmoil. Released posthumously, the song stands as a haunting memorial to the singer’s untimely death at age 23. We learn a whole song in one night and finish with a tiny performance in a nearby street or park (weather permitting) and a video recording so we can relive the magic as many time as we want!
